Job summary

Biodeal Pharmaceuticals Limited, head office Noida, is looking for a proficient accounts professional to manage day-to-day accounting and lead R2R closing cycles. You will ensure IGAAP alignment, GST and income tax compliance, and conduct reconciliations with internal teams and auditors.

Responsibilities include ledger maintenance, journal entries, month-end close, MIS reporting, and timely statutory filings.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate maintenance of financial records.
• Manage Record-to-Report (R2R) activities, including journal entries, provisions, accruals, and month-end closing.
• Ensure accounting and financial reporting in accordance with IGAAP and applicable accounting principles.
• Handle GST compliance, including GST returns, reconciliations, and related documentation.
• Manage Income Tax compliance, including TDS calculations, returns, payments, and related statutory requirements.
• Perform regular bank, vendor, customer, and inter-company reconciliations.
• Maintain and review general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and proper classification of transactions.
• Conduct ledger scrutiny and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Assist in preparation of financial statements, schedules, and MIS reports.
• Coordinate with internal teams, auditors, and consultants for audits and statutory compliance.
• Ensure timely completion of accounting and compliance-related activities within defined timelines.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of IGAAP, general accounting, and R2R processes.
• Hands-on experience in GST and Income Tax compliance.
• Good understanding of ledger accounting, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Experience in bank, vendor, customer, and inter-company reconciliations.
• Working knowledge of statutory compliance and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software / ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Qualification

• B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification in Finance & Accounting.
