Job summary

LabBuddy is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant in Delhi to independently manage accounting operations, statutory compliance, reconciliations, and management reporting. The role requires GST, TDS expertise and hands-on experience with ERP systems.

The candidate should have 5+ years of relevant experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work with auditors and management to deliver accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and general ledger.
• Handle GST, TDS, and statutory compliances including filing and documentation.
• Prepare financial statements: P&L, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance.
• Perform reconciliations (bank, vendor, customer, partner).
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, collections, and payments.
• Coordinate with CA, auditors, and management for reporting and audits.
• Ensure timely monthly and year-end closing with accurate records.

Role & Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Accountant who can independently manage accounting operations, statutory compliance, financial reconciliations, and management reporting at LabBuddy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, and financial records.
• Handle GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory compliances, including timely filing and documentation.
• Prepare and maintain financial statements, including Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Trial Balances.
• Perform bank, vendor, customer, and laboratory partner reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payment follow-ups, and outstanding balances.
• Handle corporate invoicing, collections, and payment tracking.
• Maintain laboratory partner settlements, commission calculations, vendor payouts, and payment reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports, cash flow statements, and financial summaries for management.
• Assist with payroll processing, employee reimbursements, and statutory deductions.
• Coordinate with chartered accountants, auditors, and management for financial reporting, taxation, and audits.
• Ensure timely monthly and year-end closing with accurate financial records.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Education: B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong practical knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Tally, Busy, or similar accounting software.
• Knowledge of Odoo ERP will be an added advantage.
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial reporting, reconciliations, and MIS preparation.
• Experience in healthcare, hospitals, diagnostics, or service-based businesses will be preferred.
• Proven ability to independently manage end-to-end accounting responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and financial discipline.
