Job summary

TRUMPF India is seeking an Assembly Technician to join our high-precision manufacturing team in Pune. The role involves assembling precision machine tools according to drawings, conducting thorough inspections, and troubleshooting electrical-related issues on the assembly line.

You should have a Diploma in Electrical Engineering and 1–4 years of relevant experience, with strong English communication skills and hands-on electrical expertise.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Hands-on experience with electrical-related work is preferred.
• 1 to 4 years working experience in a relevant function.
• Good knowledge of electrical fundamentals.
• Experience on an assembly line.
• Knowledge of electrical parts assembly techniques.
• English language skills (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Assemble precision machine tools according to engineering drawings and assembly procedures.
• Inspect machine components for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues during assembly, addressing electrical problems.
• Follow detailed engineering drawings and assembly instructions accurately.
• Use hand tools, power tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Collaborate with engineering/design to resolve discrepancies between drawings and assembly.
• Work on the assembly line as per SOPs at defined stages.
• Maintain detailed records of assembly processes and deviations.
• Ensure final assembly meets quality standards during final inspection and testing.
• Adhere to health, safety guidelines and legal obligations.

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Assemble precision machine tools according to engineering, drawings specification and assembly procedures.
• Conduct thorough inspection of machine components to ensure quality and adherence to specification.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues during assembly, resolving Electrical and related problems as they arise.
• Follow detailed engineering drawings and assembly instructions accurately.
• Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools and precision measuring instruments for assembly and alignment tasks.
• Work closely with engineering and design team to address any discrepancy between drawings and practical assembly.
• In this role, you will be working on assembly line as per SOPs on any stage/section defined by management.
• Maintain detailed records of assembly process, changes and deviation from standard procedures.
• Ensure the final assembly meets quality standards during conducting final inspection and test.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as lega obligations.
