Job summary

HROne is seeking an assembly supervisor to oversee end-to-end manufacturing processes with a strong emphasis on safety and quality. The role requires GD&T knowledge, ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings, and familiarity with electrical safety practices on the shop floor.

Candidate should be comfortable with Lean manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen principles, and have exposure to SAP for material requisition and consumption.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising end-to-end assembly with focus on safety and quality.
• Proficiency in GD&T and reading electrical/mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of electrical safety practices and LOTO procedures.
• SAP basics for material requisition and consumption.
• Lean manufacturing and 5S principles applied on shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Supervise end-to-end assembly processes to meet safety and quality standards.
• Lead the assembly team to achieve daily production targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules, LOTO, and electrical practices.
• Drive Kaizen and 5S improvements on the line.
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams for issue resolution.

Job description

The incumbent in this role will be responsible for supervising the end-to-end assembly process of products, with a strong focus on meeting safety and quality standards.

Technical Skills Required

• GD&T knowledge
• Knowledge of assembly tools such as torque wrench, spanners, pneumatic tools, etc.
• Knowledge of fasteners, their applications, and different types of joints
• Knowledge of 7 QC Tools, Poka Yoke, 3M, Kaizen, 5S, Jigs & Fixtures
• Basic knowledge of SAP for material requisition and material consumption
• Lean Manufacturing
• Strong knowledge in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics
• Knowledge of electrical assembly and wiring, including cable routing, crimping, termination, and connector assembly
• Knowledge of electrical components such as MCBs, relays, contactors, switches, sensors, terminals, connectors, and cables
• Knowledge of cable dressing, harness assembly, wire identification, ferruling, and proper termination practices
• Awareness of electrical safety practices, including isolation/LOTO, grounding, and safe handling of electrical equipment
