Job summary

Keka Technologies Private Limited in India seeks an experienced engineer for Engine Assembly facilities management. You will oversee production facilities, lead equipment upgrades, plan CAPEX, and ensure quality and performance across the production line.

Strong collaboration with Project, Maintenance, and Manufacturing teams is essential. The role requires 8–12 years in engine assembly or related experience, proficiency in CATIA/AutoCAD and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate with 8–12 years experience in engine assembly or related field.
• Strong knowledge of equipment, tooling and facility design.
• Fluent in English; good communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the processing and the industrialization production facilities per reference frames in Engine assembly.
• Pilot Assembly for all industrial resources; responsible for planning, investments and quality.
• Interface with Project, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Product departments.
• Contributes to specification and design phases for equipment and facility.
• Decide Equipment Upgradation/Installation for New Project Scope.
• CAPEX budget preparation and control for Engine Assembly shop projects.
• Rationalizes standards and layout preparation of general assembly workshop.
• Write Equipment FMEA, Control plan, Maintenance Plan.
• Audit and validate processes; training.
• Handover to Serial life Production.
• Suggest technical solutions to optimize tools and equipment.
• Handover equipment references from Design Department.
• Ensure interfaces with other industrial departments.

Purpose of the Role

Job Responsibilities

• Ensures the processing and the industrialization production facilities for the perimeter in accordance with the reference frames in Engine assembly (architecture workshop, Engineering)
• He is the privileged Pilot Assembly for all industrial resource.
• He is the responsible plannings, investments, performance and quality related to his production facilities.
• Interface with the other department(Project, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Product)

Engineering

• Contributes during specification and design phases to technical solution decisions for Equipments & Facility.
• Decide Equipment Upgradation/Installation for New Project Scope
• CAPEX budget Preparation & Control for all Engine Assembly shopProjects (Facility Perimeter)
• Work actively on rationalization or standards engineering workshop'- Layout Preparation of general Assembly
• Equipment Technical Specification creation, RFQ creation, Technical Alignment , Installation , Snag Closure & Buy off.
• Support local team to define requirements and rules for associated tooling necessary to start production.
• Support local team to qualify the Equipments performance in line with requirement .
• Write Equipment FMEA, Control plan, Maintenance Plan to sustain the Performance of Equipment
• Audit and validate industrial process, documentation, process and means validation, training.
• Hands on Experience Tooling, Jigs, Fixture, Pallets Design, Dispensing systems, Vision systems, Power tools & Auto Outrunner stations, Handling aids & Error proofing systems (Engine test bed experience - Added advantage)
• Handover to Serial life Production
• Suggest Technical solution for Optimizing the Performance of Tools & Equipments
• Making, Receive Technical reference for Sensitive Process from Design Department
• Guarantee the best interfaces management with the other industrial département

Execution / Serial manufacturing:

• Guarantees internal control and good application of Equipmentguidelines & rulesin line with customers’ requirements.
• Performs internal and external audits.
• In case of non-conformity or incident, investigate root causes, finds and implement repair solutions.

Cross Functional Action

• Participate to meetings and working groups.
• Propose improvement ideas and evolution of the business rules of their domain.
