Job summary

One Stop NDT in Pune seeks an ASNT Level III NDT Specialist to lead audits, develop training programs, and certify Level I/II personnel in compliance with ASNT, ISO, API, and ASME.

Candidates must hold ASNT Level III in five methods (UT, RT, MT, PT, ET, VT) and have 8–12 years of NDT experience, including audits and personnel certification.

Qualifications

• ASNT Level III certification in any five of the specified NDT methods.
• 8–12 years of NDT experience including audits, training, and personnel certification.
• Strong knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Audit & Compliance: conduct audits of NDT procedures and personnel; ensure adherence to ASNT, ISO, API, ASME, and customer standards; review inspection reports for compliance and accuracy.
• Training & Mentorship: develop and deliver NDT training programs; mentor Level I and II NDT personnel; assess competency.
• Personnel Certification: certify Level I and II personnel per ASNT guidelines; maintain qualification records.
• Technical Leadership: serve as technical authority for NDT methods; develop and approve NDT procedures; provide support for complex inspections.
• Documentation & Reporting: prepare and review NDT manuals, procedures, and reports; support audits with proper documentation.

Job description

Position Summary:-

The ASNT Level III NDT Specialist will lead NDT operations with a focus on audits, training, and personnel certification. The role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards, developing NDT training programs, conducting audits, and certifying Level I and Level II NDT personnel.

The position requires ASNT Level III certification in any five of the following NDT methods: Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Radiographic Testing (RT), Magnetic Testing (MT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Eddy Current Testing (ET), and Visual Testing (VT).

Responsibilities:-

Audit & Compliance:

• Conduct audits of NDT procedures and personnel.
• Ensure adherence to ASNT, ISO, API, ASME, and customer standards.
• Review inspection reports for compliance and accuracy.

Training & Mentorship:

• Develop and deliver NDT training programs.
• Mentor Level I and Level II NDT personnel.
• Assess the competency of NDT personnel.

Personnel Certification:

• Certify Level I and Level II personnel in accordance with ASNT guidelines.
• Maintain qualification records for NDT personnel.

Technical Leadership:

• Serve as the technical authority for NDT methods.
• Develop and approve NDT procedures.
• Provide technical support for complex inspections.
• Documentation & Reporting

Requirements:-

• Minimum 8 years of work experience in Auditing.
• Minimum 8 years of work experience with Certified Quality Auditor (CQA).
• ASNT Level III certification in any five of the following methods: UT, RT, MT, PT, ET, and VT.
