Job summary

RGBSI is seeking a skilled NDT professional with Level 2 certification to perform UT/VT inspections in Heavy Engineering, Oil & Gas, Wind, Automotive, and Aeronautical projects in Kolkata. The candidate should have 4–8 years of hands-on NDT experience and be proficient with UT equipment and analysis software.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Manufacturing/Production/Industrial/Electrical or equivalent) is required, along with strong MS Office reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Production / Industrial / Electrical or equivalent
• 4 to 8 years of experience in Heavy Engineering industries, Oil & Gas, Wind, Automobile, Aeronautical or CAD services/consultancy
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on NDT experience (UT & VT) for Level 2 certification (ASNT / PCN / Equivalent)
• Good knowledge of blades manufacturing processes
• Ability to setup & use NDT (UT) equipment and relevant analysis software
• Proficient in MS Office for reporting day-to-day developments

Responsibilities

• Perform Hand & Machine UT Scan
• Set up & operate UT equipment and relevant analysis software
• Prepare and present NDT reports using MS Office
• Support QA/QC activities in heavy engineering sectors
