Meta is seeking an ASIC Engineering Intern to join our Release to Production Engineering team. As an Intern of Infra Silicon Enablement team, you will be part of a team working with the best in the industry, focused on developing and supporting ASIC solutions for Meta’s data center applications.Internships are twelve (12) to sixteen (16) weeks long.ASIC Engineer Intern - Infra Silicon Enablement Responsibilities:Work across all aspects of silicon lifecycle to deliver reliable and performant silicon solutions - from early architecture and design inputs, pre-silicon validation, bring-up and post-silicon characterization and deployment in fleetCreate/develop validation and automation tool sets targeted at silicon validation and productization - inclusive of, but not limited to silicon diagnostics, performance analysis, debug tools, bare metal and full stack systems, from early labs to data center deploymentsUnderstand production system use cases to improve validationProvide feedback into next generation architecture and design with insights from the production fleetRoot-cause, resolve and remediate issues with silicon across the product lifecycleMinimum Qualifications:Completed Coursework in Computer architecture and/or Electrical engineeringExperience with troubleshooting, debug and analytics for Silicon productsExperience in Linux, Python, C/C++ and/or similar languages (data structures, algorithms, and OOP)Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employmentPreferred Qualifications:Experience in ASIC Design, Development or Validation (Silicon bringup, validation, emulation, characterization, etc)Experience with Silicon Lifecycle for Data center applications like Video, AI/ML or NetworkingExperience with some of the following modules/domains: PCIe, Networking, Flash, Memory, CPU, GPU, DRAM (LP/DDR4/5 and/or HBM)Understanding of embedded systems, including common bus protocols such as I2C, SPI, USB, and/or PCIeUnderstanding of SW/FW/HW Engineering or ASIC development cyclesAbout Meta:Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
