Job summary

You will handle on‑call production support, analyze requirements, and design, code, test, and document software to meet standards and security policies. Collaborative teamwork and on‑call responsiveness are expected.

Qualifications

• 3-10 years of AS400 development experience.
• Experience in RPG/COBOL environments and IBM iSeries.

Job Description:

• Handle on-call production support
• Handle regular workstream of Research incidents and fixes/enhancements when there is no on-call issue
• Design, code, test, debug and document software according to systems standards, policies and, procedures, security and compliance requirements.
• Analyzing business requirements, processes, data sets and systems to determine and suggest appropriate solutions.
• Providing support to the application by troubleshooting and resolve system errors.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve under pressure for short durations.
• Perform application configuration changes using established procedures.
• Provide documentation, information, and perform special requests as requested for changes and ongoing processes.
• Provide regular time tracking and issue/task feedback data as requested.
• Communicate in a positive manner with team members
