Job summary

Nalashaa is seeking an experienced AS/400 Developer in Bangalore to design, develop, troubleshoot, and optimize AS/400 applications. You will mentor team members, participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives while working with business and technical stakeholders.

The role requires strong hands-on AS/400/IBM i skills, RPG/RPGLE, CL/CLLE, and DB2/400, with additional COBOL experience and knowledge of modern integrations as a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on AS/400 / IBM i development experience.
• Expertise in RPG/RPGLE, CL/CLLE and DB2/400.
• Experience designing and developing AS/400-based applications and interfaces.
• Understanding of AS/400 architecture, debugging and performance tuning.
• Experience with job scheduling tools like Control-M is an advantage.
• Knowledge of web services, APIs, XML and modern integrations on AS/400 is a plus.
• Proven problem-solving skills and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities
