Job summary

Tech Mahindra in Chennai is seeking an AS400 Developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in AS/400, RPG, CL, and DB2/400. The position is hybrid, requiring collaboration with onsite and offshore teams.

You will work across diverse domains such as Banking, SCM, and Manufacturing & Logistics, performing requirements walkthroughs, design, coding, testing, and warranty support.

Qualifications

• Experience in iSeries/AS400 environments with OS/400.
• Knowledge of CL/CLLE and RPG family, including RPG/400 and RPGLE.
• Familiarity with SQL and DB2/400.
• Domain experience in Banking, SCM, Manufacturing & logistics or Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Project sponsor introduction.
• Walkthrough of business requirements document.
• Prepare estimates and design modules.
• Code development and unit/system/integration testing.
• Support UAT and coordinate with onsite and offshore teams.
• Handle implementation and warranty support.
• Engage in WSR and project management activities.
