Job summary

MeMeraki in New Delhi is seeking a passionate individual to represent their brand at a new store location in Vasant Kunj. As a cultural ambassador, you will engage with walk-in customers, sharing the mission of MeMeraki and showcasing a curated selection of handcrafted art. This role combines customer service with operations management, fostering relationships and driving sales for artisan-made offerings.

The position starts as a temporary role for 2-3 months, with the potential to transition into a full-time opportunity for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, especially in Interior Design or arts/design.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive and ownership-driven approach to tasks.
• Strong passion for empowering artists and artisans.

Salary: 10k per month

Job type: On site (6 days a week from 3:30 pm to 8 pm)

We are looking for someone with a deep-rooted love for art and culture, and the passion to make a difference in the lives of artists and artisans by empowering them with technology.

This role is for 2-3 months till the end of September with a possibility to convert to a full time role for a good candidate.

What you will work on

• Represent MeMeraki at our new store location in Delhi (Vasant Kunj), situated in a premium retail space. You will be the face of the brand for all walk-in customers—responsible for introducing them to our mission, explaining the story behind our work, and showcasing the curated selection of handmade arts and crafts on display. This role includes engaging with visitors, answering queries about the artworks, artists, and techniques, and providing a thoughtful and informed customer experience.
• You will also coordinate closely with our internal team to manage inventory, fulfill orders, track customer requests, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Most importantly, your goal will be to build meaningful customer relationships and drive sales by communicating the value and uniqueness of MeMeraki’s artisan-made offerings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (Interior Design or arts or design would be an added advantage but not necessary)
• Great communicator (both written and verbal)
• Entrepreneurial with initiative and drive to have ownership on all tasks
• A passion to spread the ‘Idea of India’ globally and in India to make a difference in the lives of artists and artisans
