Job summary

Paytm, a leader in digital payments, is seeking an experienced Sales Leader in Karnataka to drive merchant acquisition, payment solutions, and POS sales. You will lead a team to hit revenue targets and collaborate with internal teams to resolve merchant issues.

Ideal candidates have 10–18 years in area sales management within fintech or merchant acquiring, with a proven track record of revenue growth and strategic execution.

Qualifications

• 10-18 years of experience in area sales management or similar role in telecom sales or merchant acquiring industry.
• Strong understanding of fintech sales principles including merchant onboarding processes.
• Proven track record of achieving revenue targets through leadership and strategy development.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of sales professionals to achieve revenue targets through merchant acquisition, payment solutions, and POS machine sales.
• Develop and execute strategies for acquiring new merchants for our bank products and services.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues related to payment gateways, UPI, QR codes, postpaid/prepaid cards, EDC machines, and POS systems.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling other financial products such as insurance or investment services.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead in the fintech landscape.
