Job summary

Pee Safe in India is seeking an Area Sales Manager (ASM) for General Trade (Offline) to drive growth across the distributor network. You will lead a sales team, expand market coverage, and implement trade schemes to strengthen brand presence in FMCG categories.

The role requires hands-on experience in distributor management, team leadership, and a track record in General Trade sales within cosmetics, personal care, or related sectors. Startup experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 6-12 years of experience in General Trade (Offline) sales.
• Strong expertise in distributor management and team handling.
• Experience in FMCG, Personal Care, Cosmetics, Hygiene, Baby Care, or related categories.
• Prior startup experience or willingness to work in a high-growth startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive primary and secondary sales through the General Trade distributor network.
• Appoint, develop, and manage distributors, stockists, and super stockists.
• Lead and mentor a team of Sales Officers/Executives to achieve sales targets.
• Expand market coverage, outlet reach, and distribution across the assigned territory.
• Execute trade schemes, promotional activities, and channel development initiatives.
• Ensure product availability, distributor health, and effective inventory management.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and identify business opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and wholesalers to strengthen brand presence.
• Ensure timely sales reporting, forecasting, and compliance with company policies.
