Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking an Area Recovery Manager for Secured & Unsecured Lending to lead delinquency reduction and early resolution strategies. You will monitor daily accounts, engage delinquent borrowers through calls and field visits, and drive collection targets.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in collections, with 2 years managing on-roll teams, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with branches and achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to handle difficult customers and resolve disputes.
• Experience in reaching targets under pressure and market movements.

Responsibilities

• Reduce delinquency and accelerate resolution across secured & unsecured lending.
• Monitor accounts daily and drive proactive collections actions.
• Lead and train collection staff; build a high-performing team.
• Coordinate with branch networks for smoother collections execution.
• Travel as required by company policy to meet recovery goals.

Area Recovery Manager – Secured & Unsecured Lending Business

Reporting to – Area Manager

Main Tasks & Areas of Responsibility

• Delinquency reduction.
• Earlier resolution with normalization.
• Monitor accounts on daily basis
• Connecting with delinquent borrowers via various methods ( including but not limited to phone calls & field collections)
• Responsible for team building and training collection staffs
• To Work closely with Muthoot Fincorp branches for the smoother part of collection

Skills and Exposure

• A result-oriented individual with Positive Mental Attitude with Integrity, willing to put hard work.
• Proven ability to Handle difficult customer.
• Should have the knowledge of other products movement in the market.
• At least 3 years’ experience in collection with 2 years of On roll team members.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Ability to Work & Deliver business targets under pressure.
