Job summary

Equitas Small Finance Bank is seeking an Area Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across the assigned locations in Pune. You will ensure adherence to policies, drive efficiency, and implement process improvements to raise quality and reduce costs.

You will lead Branch Managers and operational teams, monitor KPIs, manage budgets, and support revenue growth while maintaining high customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and a culture of accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/ops fields; MBA preferred.
• 5–10 years of operations management experience, multiple locations preferred.
• Experience in team leadership and performance management.

Area operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Operations Management Oversee day-to-day operations across assigned locations. Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and operational standards. Monitor operational performance and implement process improvements. Drive efficiency, quality, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Team Leadership Lead, mentor, and support Branch Managers and operational teams. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching. Identify training needs and support employee development programs. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Business Performance Achieve operational and financial targets for the assigned area. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop action plans for improvement. Monitor budgets, expenses, and resource utilization. Support revenue growth initiatives and business expansion activities.
• Customer Experience Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction across all locations. Address escalated customer concerns and implement corrective actions. Monitor service quality and drive customer-centric initiatives.
• Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Conduct operational audits and risk assessments. Implement corrective actions to address compliance gaps. Maintain health, safety, and security standards.
• Reporting & Analysis Prepare and present operational reports to senior management. Monitor area performance metrics and identify trends. Recommend strategic improvements based on data analysis.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or related field.
• MBA preferred.
• 5-10 years of experience in operations management, preferably managing multiple locations.
• Experience in team leadership and performance management.
