Nayara Energy Ltd. in Vadinar is seeking a skilled Logistics & Supply Chain professional to oversee the movement of solid products from the Vadinar Terminal. You will coordinate with refinery teams, direct sales, and rail/port stakeholders to ensure timely loading and compliance.

Key responsibilities include planning dispatches, coordinating with rail siding, maintaining documentation, and ensuring safety and statutory compliance while optimizing material flow and customer satisfaction.

Job Purpose:

Responsible for overseeing the movement of solid products from the Vadinar Terminal, including coordination with the refinery, power plant, and direct sales teams for loading plans. Accountable for resource planning, addressing customer issues, ensuring quality and safe loading operations, and managing documentation for solid export vessels as per lay can schedules. Also ensures internal product movement for rake loading and availability of quality product at all times.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

1. Coordination

   • Coordinate and plan product dispatches with Direct Sales team for direct customers and traders.
   • Coordinate with Refinery (DCU, SRU, CPP, Utilities) for receipt of various solid products.
   • Coordinate with Time Office Planning Officer to ensure truck availability at loading area.
   • Coordinate with Rail Siding team for product supply for rake loading.
   • Coordinate with vendors for internal movement of petcoke to rail siding/emergency yard.
   • Coordinate with transporters for product movement from Vadinar to port for export vessels.
   • Coordinate with Refinery to address environmental issues.

2. Planning and Execution

   • Plan solid product evacuation as per customer quota and directions from Direct Sales team
   • Plan and distribute product to rail siding, emergency storage yard, and customer truck loading.
   • Plan truck and product availability for timely movement as per vessel lay cans.

3. Product Reconciliation

   • Reconcile solid movements and stocks on daily and periodic basis
   • Take corrective actions for discrepancies.
   • Ensure timely disposal of off-spec materials

4. Documentation & MIS

   • Maintain records of all solid product movements
   • Ensure error-free documentation (invoices, e-way bills)
   • Release various MIS reports.

5. Contract Management

   • Handle product handling and maintenance contracts.
   • Ensure adherence to contract terms and timely payment release.
6. Inculcate Safety Culture
7. • Ensure adherence to safety guidelines by own team and third-party workers.
   • Conduct safety meetings.

8. Compliance

   • Ensure adherence to statutory compliances.
   • Follow organizational guidelines.

9. Strategic Networking

   • Maintain strategic relationships with Railways, PSUs, vendors, maintenance departments, etc. for timely support and smooth operations.

10. Customer Satisfaction

    • Handle customer issues and ensure corrective actions.
    • Monitor product quality released to market.
    • Inform Direct (B2B) Sales team of any product quality changes.

11. Development of Team

• Assess training needs and nominate team members for training.
• Develop skills through job rotation and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

Qualification:

• Engineering Graduate or Science Graduate / Engineering Diploma holder
• Preferably with Postgraduate qualification in Supply Chain / Operations Management
