Job summary

Tata Capital is seeking a Collection Manager to oversee regional portfolios, improve process controls, and drive efficiency in collections operations. The role focuses on monitoring performance, inventory management, and coordinating with legal and IT stakeholders to implement best strategies.

The candidate should have a Graduate degree, with Masters/Postgraduate optional, and be prepared to operate in a dynamic, performance-driven environment within Delhi, India.

Responsibilities

• Regularly review processes to improve controls.
• Manage regional portfolio across parameters ensuring unit objectives.
• Develop measurement standards to monitor collections tele calling team performance.
• Ensure inventory management: resolution, rollback, normalization to reduce bucket inventory.
• Facilitate receipts and recovery of bad debts; coordinate with in-house and external legal team/advocates.
• Support best collection strategies with stakeholders in operations, Sales and IT.
• Empanel and retain right vendors/agencies.
• Ensure in-house officers/agencies meet SLAs while minimizing vendor costs.

Job description

Core Responsibilities:

• Regular reviews of current processes and ensure better control
• Manage portfolio in the assigned region on various parameters and ensure unit as objective is uncompromised
• Build and develop measurement standards to monitor performance of the collections tele caliing team
• Ensure inventory management through resolution, roll back, normalization for the bucket and take proactive steps to control/ reduce inventory for the bucket/location
• Take adequate steps to ensure receipt of payments and recovery of bad debts while monitoring legal proceedings with in house external legal team/advocates.
• Support to implement best collection strategies with coordination of stakeholders of operations, Sales IT department.
• Empanel and retain right vendor / Agency.
• Ensure that all the in-house officers / agencies in the location perform as per defined SLA while reducing costs incurred through vendors
