Job summary

Amazon is seeking Outbound Area Managers for our Fulfillment Centers in Maharashtra. You will focus on safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity, leading shifts and coordinating with other managers to meet daily objectives.

The role requires 2+ years in performance metrics or lean methods, with direct management experience preferred, and a Bachelor's degree. On-site work at our FCs in Maharashtra is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 2+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.
• 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Review the work forecasts and determine productivity requirements to meet building objectives.
• Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor and ensure balanced, efficient shifts.
• Support safety programs and OSHA compliance to maintain a safe work environment for associates.
• Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives using Lean tools.

Key job responsibilities

• Review the work forecasts and determine your productivity requirements to produce during the day to meet the overall building objectives.
• Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor ensuring that you are operating a balanced and efficient shift while meeting all of your goals.
• Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates.
• Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools

• Direct management experience for employees and their performance
• Experience with performance metrics and process improvement (how, when, who)

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
