MAG Finserv Company Limited is seeking an experienced Area Manager for Gold Loans to oversee multiple branches across Pune region. The role emphasizes driving gold loan sales, operations, and team leadership to meet disbursement, AUM, and revenue targets.

The candidate should have strong experience in gold loan sales and operations and be willing to travel within the assigned area, with MBA/PGDM preferred. Location: Pune and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Graduate or postgraduate degree, MBA/PGDM preferred.
• Strong system knowledge in gold loan sales and operations.
• Experience in managing multiple branches is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor operations of multiple gold loan branches.
• Drive achievement of gold loan disbursement, AUM, renewal and revenue targets.
• Lead, motivate and monitor Branch Managers and Gold Loan teams.
• Develop strategies for customer acquisition and business growth.
• Monitor branch profitability, productivity and operational KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines and internal processes.
• Ensure proper gold valuation, custody, documentation and audit compliance.
• Conduct regular branch visits and performance reviews.
• Identify business gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Manage portfolio quality, overdue accounts and auction-related activities.
• Coordinate with Credit, Operations, Audit, Risk and Collections teams.
• Recruit, train and develop branch personnel.
• Prepare and submit regular MIS and performance reports to senior management.

Candidate Profile

• Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM preferred.
• 815 years of experience in Gold Loan / NBFC / Banking.
• Strong experience in Gold Loan Sales & Operations.
• Experience managing multiple branches/locations is preferred.
• Strong team leadership and target-achievement skills.
• Good knowledge of gold valuation, documentation, compliance and branch operations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned area.
