NIIT Foundation in Bengaluru seeks an Area Manager to lead skill development projects across centres in the region, ensuring mobilisation, enrolment, training, assessment, and placement targets are met while maintaining quality and donor compliance.

You will mentor Centre Heads, trainers, mobilisers, and placement teams, oversee monitoring and reporting, and drive stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement to deliver impact for beneficiaries.

Competenze

• Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
• 6+ years of experience; 3+ years managing teams across states.
• 3+ years in Skill Development sector.
• Strong analytical and statistical knowledge; proficient in Excel.
• Training sessions experience preferred.
• Extroverted, people-oriented with ability to motivate diverse learners.

Job Description

The Area Manager will be responsible for the effective implementation, monitoring, and management of skill development projects across assigned centres within the designated geographical area. The role involves ensuring achievement of project targets related to mobilisation, enrolment, training, assessment, certification, placement, and post-placement tracking, while maintaining quality standards, operational efficiency, and compliance with organisational policies and donor requirements.

The Area Manager will provide leadership and guidance to Centre Heads, trainers, mobilisers, placement teams, and other project staff to ensure timely delivery of project outcomes and a positive learning experience for beneficiaries.

Requirements

Job Description

• Quality Assurance & Evaluation: Conduct surveillanceand assessment of operations.
• Monitoring Compliance: Visit NF centers in assigned areasto ensure process adherence.
• LMS Management: Oversee NF Student Management System.
• Placement Follow-ups: Persistently contact graduates andcoordinate with the placement team for employment outcomes.
• Reporting: Generate and share automated/manual reports atvarious intervals (daily, fortnightly, monthly, etc.).
• Project Support: Assist the Project Manager with analysis,observations, and backend details.

Requirements

• Education: Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 6 years, with at least 3 years managingteams across states.
• Domain Expertise: At least 3 years of experience in the Skill Development sector.
• Technical Skills: Strong analytical and statisticalknowledge, proficient in Excel.
• Training Experience: Preferred if experienced in conductingtraining sessions.
• Interpersonal Skills: Extroverted, people-oriented, withthe ability to handle diverse student learning abilities andmotivate them effectively.
