Job summary

Medikon India Pvt Ltd is seeking an Area Business Manager/Executive to drive sales growth across designated regions. The role involves expanding the customer base, coordinating with healthcare partners, and ensuring orders progress from hospitals to payment receipt.

You will engage with hospitals and govt institutions, leveraging tender processes and healthcare knowledge to meet targets while communicating in local language and English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of sales experience in pharma/healthcare.
• Experience with Govt Institutions (Central, State, Defence, ESIC, CGHS) and tender business preferred.
• Proficient in local language and English with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, maintain and increase sales for defined products.
• Establish and expand customer base; build relationships with healthcare partners.
• Identify and resolve gaps between customer expectations and service levels; provide solutions.
• Take orders from hospitals and oversee supply through to payment receipt.
• Resolve customer complaints through investigation and corrective actions; report findings.
• Manage ground-level operations to ensure smooth service delivery.

Job Location /Base Location- Delhi/Bangalore/Kolkata

Education level- Bachelors in science (Min)

Exp Required- Min 3+ years of exp

Preferred Industry- Pharmaceutical /Healthcare/ Devices

Language Known- Local Language & English

Roles and Responsibilities -

1. Planning, maintaining and increasing sales for defined/assigned companys products.
2. Establishing, maintaining and expanding your customer base
   Build effective business relationships with health care partners and customers.
3. Identify and resolve gaps in customer expectations vs actual service levels.
4. Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
5. Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports, making recommendations to management.
6. Responsible to take care of everything at ground level (from taking orders from hospital till supply of product/payment receipt).
