Job summary

Advance Estimating Services is seeking a detail-oriented estimator to handle quantity estimation for architectural trades on overseas projects. You will review drawings, prepare accurate estimates, and consult with clients to resolve issues, ensuring alignment with project scope and specifications.

Candidates should read English well, work under pressure, and will be trained on estimation software and methodologies to support efficient project delivery.

Qualifications

• Ability to estimate quantities for architectural trades based on plans and specs.
• Strong reading comprehension of English and architectural drawings.
• Comfort working under pressure to meet project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Quantity estimation of trades for overseas projects.
• Review proposal specs and plans to determine scope and contents of estimates.
• Estimate architectural trades (roofing, flooring, painting, insulation, windows, lighting) for contractors in USA/Canada/Australia.
• Consult with clients to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Review addenda and adjust estimates accordingly.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Quantity estimation of various trades of projects of overseas clients.
• Review proposal specifications, plans etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate,view schedules of projects being estimated.
• Quantity Estimation of architectural trades (roofing, flooring. Paint, insulation, Windows, lighting fixtures) of for contractors based in USA, Canada and Australia.
• Consult with clients to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues
• Review addendums of projects already done and make changes to the estimate accordingly.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Candidate should have good understanding of architectural plans, sections and elevations.
• Candidate should be able to read and understand English.
• Candidate should be able to work under pressure.
• Selected candidate will be trained on estimation software and estimating methodology.
