Job summary

JSW industrial Park in Mumbai seeks an Architect - Urban Design with 10-12 years' experience to lead master planning for industrial parks, factories, warehouses and related developments, from feasibility through design development and execution.

You will coordinate with consultants, review drawings, support tendering and construction, and ensure design integrity, budgets and schedules are met, including landscaping and open spaces.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture or Urban Design is mandatory.
• Total 10-12 years with 4-5 years in industrial projects.
• Experience in feasibility studies and concept development.
• Knowledge of landscaping and open spaces.
• Strong documentation and project execution skills.
• Proficient with working, GFC, Tender & statutory drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead master planning feasibility for industrial, mixed-use, and sports-oriented developments.
• Oversee consultant onboarding and design development from concept to execution.
• Review drawings and coordinate with structural, MEP, HVAC, and others.
• Support BOQs, tenders, and construction activities.
• Drive design management to meet schedules and budgets.

Position: Architect - Urban Design
Location: Mumbai
Experience: 10-12 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Feasibility for large scale master planning projects - Industrial, Mixed-use and Sports oriented development across India.
• Lead the process of evaluation and consultant onboarding for large scale projects.
• Lead the design development from concept to execution, maintaining high quality standards.
• Review Working drawings, GFC & Tender Drawings, Develop Statutory & Approval Drawings, Coordinate with Structural, MEP, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical & Fire-fighting Consultants.
• Review consultant drawings and resolve site execution challenges.
• Support BOQs, tender documentation & construction activities
• Collaborate with procurement, projects and consultants/ vendors to integrate innovative products and materials.
• Provide inputs for cost optimization without compromising design integrity.
• Prepare/ present design progress and critical updates to senior management.
• Drive adherence to project schedules and budgets through proactive design management.
• Conduct site visits and provide technical support during project execution.

We're Looking For

• Bachelors/ Masters degree in Architecture or Urban Design.
• Total 10-12 years of experience with mandatory 4-5 years of experience in Industrial Projects (Industrial Parks, Factories Manufacturing Units, Warehouses, Logistics Parks, etc.).
• Experience working on new project feasibilities including concept development.
• Experience in Landscaping, material knowledge and open spaces designs.
• Strong expertise in construction documentation detailing, and project execution.
• Hands-on experience with Working, GFC, Tender, and Statutory Drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office and other relevant documents
• Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
