Insight is seeking an Architect II to design, implement, and support enterprise monitoring solutions using the ScienceLogic SL1 platform across diverse environments including network, compute, and cloud. You will develop monitoring policies, dashboards, and automation workflows, and integrate SL1 with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow while leveraging Python, Bash, and PowerShell for automation.

Job Summary

Primary Purpose: responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise monitoring solutions using the ScienceLogic SL1 platform

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and support enterprise monitoring solutions using the ScienceLogic SL1 platform across network, compute, storage, virtualization, and cloud environments.
• Develop and optimize monitoring policies, event correlation, alerts, dashboards, reports, and automation workflows to improve operational visibility and reduce incident response time.
• Integrate ScienceLogic SL1 with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and support API-based data collection using protocols and technologies including SNMP, WMI, SSH, Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Troubleshoot monitoring issues, provide 24x7 rotational operational support, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure platform reliability, performance, and continuous improvement.

Key Technical Skills

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Deep expertise in infrastructure monitoring, automation, event correlation, and integration with ITSM tools
• Strong hands-on experience with ScienceLogic SL1 platform
• ServiceNow / ITSM tools integration VMware / Hyper-V
• Cloud monitoring (Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch - preferred)
• Scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell
• Databases: MySQL / PostgreSQL (basic knowledge)
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (Git, CI/CD pipelines)
• Expertise in: SNMP, WMI, SSH, API-based data collection
