Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Architect / Architectural Designer with a strong understanding of architectural concept design, schematic design, design coordination, and technical detailing. The candidate will be responsible for developing design concepts, preparing visual presentations, creating detailed working drawings, and ensuring design quality while adhering to applicable building regulations and approval requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural Design & Development

• Develop architectural concepts and schematic designs in line with project requirements.
• Provide creative inputs to enhance functional layouts, aesthetics, and overall design quality.
• Prepare design proposals and explore innovative architectural solutions.

Visualisation & Client Presentations

• Prepare visual materials, design presentations, and supporting documents for client meetings.
• Communicate design concepts effectively through drawings, layouts, and visual representations.

Design Coordination & Detailing

• Ensure holistic design coordination across relevant disciplines.
• Develop aesthetic and technically detailed architectural designs.
• Prepare systematic colour schemes, material palettes, and finish selections.
• Create detailed architectural working drawings and area statements.

Regulatory Compliance & Approvals

• Understand applicable building regulations, architectural standards, and approval requirements of relevant authorities.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable guidelines and project requirements.

Collaboration & Continuous Learning

• Coordinate with internal teams and other disciplines to ensure smooth design development.
• Stay updated on modern architectural practices, design trends, software, and industry developments.
• Share relevant knowledge and updates with other disciplines across the organisation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience in architectural design.
• Strong expertise in architectural concept and schematic design.
• Proficiency in architectural design software such as Autodesk AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively in a remote working environment.
• Strong aesthetic sensibility, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving skills.
