Job summary

Sone India in Mumbai seeks an experienced Architect to prepare designs, drawings, and reports compliant with MCGM norms and DCR. You will liaise with MCGM for approvals and manage end-to-end processes including IOD, CC, OC, and amendments.

You will coordinate with structural and MEP consultants, conduct site visits, and guide junior teams while ensuring safety and environmental standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and MS Office is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural designs, drawings and detailed project reports as per MCGM norms and DCR.
• Liaise with MCGM officials for approvals, submissions and follow-ups.
• Handle end-to-end approvals including IOD, CC, OC and amendments.
• Coordinate with structural and MEP consultants and contractors for design integration.
• Conduct site visits to ensure execution according to drawings and specs.
• Manage drawings, documentation and revisions per statutory requirements.
• Review tender drawings and BOQs and assist in technical evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sustainability and environmental guidelines.
• Guide junior architects and drafting teams.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of MCGM approvals and local by-laws.
• Show expertise in Development Control & Promotion Regulations (DCPR 2034).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and MS Office.
• Maintain good coordination and communication with stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
