Job summary

Genpact (NYSE: G) in India seeks an Architect - Application Development Microsoft N to own the end-to-end solution architecture for Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM implementations, transformations, and enhancements.

You will lead requirement discovery, fit-gap analysis, and architecture workshops with business and IT stakeholders. The role requires collaboration across procurement, inventory, warehouse, and master planning domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degrees in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Master's degree in Software Engineering.
• Certifications listed in the Certifications section are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end solution architecture for Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM implementations, transformations, and enhancements.
• Lead requirement discovery, fit-gap analysis, solution design, and architecture workshops with business and IT stakeholders.
• Design scalable solutions across Procurement and Sourcing, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Sales and Distribution, Product Information Management, Master Planning, Demand and Supply Planning, Production Control / Manufacturing, Transportation Management, Asset Management.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical solution designs.
• Define the overall D365 SCM architecture, including integrations, extensions, security, data migration, and reporting.
• Provide architectural guidance on configuration vs. customization and recommend solutions aligned with Microsoft best practices.
• Design integration approaches between D365 and enterprise applications using appropriate Microsoft integration technologies.
• Collaborate with D365 Finance, Commerce, CRM, Power Platform, Azure, data, and integration teams where cross‑platform processes are required.
• Review functional design documents and technical designs and ensure adherence to the target architecture.
• Provide guidance to functional consultants, technical consultants, developers, and integration teams.
• Lead solution design reviews and resolve complex functional and technical issues.
• Support data migration strategy, master‑data design, cutover planning, testing, and deployment.
• Participate in SIT, UAT, performance testing, go‑live, and post‑production stabilization.
• Identify solution risks, dependencies, and architectural constraints and mitigate accordingly.
• Work closely with business leadership to establish an effective Dynamics 365 SCM roadmap.
