Job summary

Genpact in India is seeking an Architect - Application Development for Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM to own end-to-end architecture, drive requirement discovery, and design scalable solutions across procurement, inventory, warehousing, sales, and master data management.

You will guide and mentor functional and technical teams, define integration approaches, review designs, support data migration, and ensure adherence to Microsoft best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degrees in computer engineering/science/IT or equivalent.
• English language proficiency required (written & spoken).
• Experience with Dynamics 365 ERP architecture and integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end solution architecture for Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM implementations, transformations, and enhancements.
• Lead requirement discovery, fit-gap analysis, solution design, and architecture workshops with business and IT stakeholders.
• Design scalable solutions across Procurement and Sourcing, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Sales and Distribution, and more.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical solution designs.
• Define the overall D365 SCM architecture, including integrations, extensions, security, data migration, and reporting.
• Provide architectural guidance on configuration vs. customization and Microsoft best practices.
• Design integration approaches between D365 and enterprise applications using Microsoft technologies.
• Collaborate with D365 Finance, Commerce, CRM, Power Platform, Azure, data, and integration teams.
• Review functional/technical designs and ensure alignment with target architecture.
• Lead solution design reviews and resolve complex issues.
• Support data migration strategy, master-data design, cutover planning, testing, and deployment.
• Participate in SIT, UAT, performance testing, go-live, and post-production stabilization.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and architectural constraints; propose mitigations.
• Work with leadership to define a Dynamics 365 SCM roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end solution architecture for Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM implementations, transformations, and enhancements.
• Lead requirement discovery, fit-gap analysis, solution design, and architecture workshops with business and IT stakeholders.
• Design scalable solutions across: Procurement and Sourcing Inventory Management Warehouse Management Sales and Distribution Product Information Management Master Planning Demand and Supply Planning Production Control / Manufacturing Transportation Management Asset Management
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical solution designs.
• Define the overall D365 SCM architecture, including integrations, extensions, security, data migration, and reporting.
• Provide architectural guidance on configuration vs. customization and recommend solutions aligned with Microsoft best practices.
• Design integration approaches between D365 and enterprise applications using appropriate Microsoft integration technologies.
• Collaborate with D365 Finance, Commerce, CRM, Power Platform, Azure, data, and integration teams where cross-platform processes are required.
• Review functional design documents and technical designs and ensure adherence to the target architecture.
• Provide guidance to functional consultants, technical consultants, developers, and integration teams.
• Lead solution design reviews and resolve complex functional and technical issues.
• Support data migration strategy, master-data design, cutover planning, testing, and deployment.
• Participate in SIT, UAT, performance testing, go-live, and post-production stabilization.
• Identify solution risks, dependencies, and architectural constraints and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Work closely with business leadership to establish an effective Dynamics 365 SCM roadmap.
