Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture or related field; licensure preferred.
• Experience integrating architectural, interior, and building systems.
• Strong project management skills with coordinating timelines and milestones.
• Familiarity with CAD/BIM workflows, scripting or plug-ins is a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and rendering tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to work on-site in LA.

Since 2017, the studio has completed over 100 projects and is currently managing more than 200,000 sq.ft of residential and commercial space under construction across seven cities. Studio V16 focuses on transforming environments into spaces people truly enjoy living and working in, with every project tailored to the needs of its occupants. The studio manages the full lifecycle of each project-briefing, design, execution, and handover-ensuring every detail is resolved and delivered to a move-in-ready standard. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Architect role based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. The Architect will develop architectural concepts and detailed designs for residential, commercial, and healthcare interiors, ensuring alignment with client briefs and Studio V16's design standards. Day-to-day tasks include preparing drawings and 3D models, coordinating integrations with interior elements and building systems, and collaborating with designers, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical and aesthetic details. The role involves participating in client meetings, translating requirements into practical design solutions, managing timelines and documentation, and supporting site supervision during execution and handover. The Architect will also contribute to continuous improvement of design processes, tools, and workflows within the studio.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate client briefs into coherent spatial concepts and detailed construction documentation.
• Experience with Integration of architectural, interior, and building systems, ensuring functional, safe, and visually consistent solutions.
• Proficiency in Project Management, including scheduling, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and overseeing project milestones from design through execution.
• Experience with relevant Software Development or customization of design tool workflows (e.g., scripting, plug-ins, or integrations within CAD/BIM environments) is an advantage.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar), and familiarity with visualization/rendering software.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a closely related field; professional licensure or progress toward licensure preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work on-site in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area on a full-time basis.
