Job summary

Qualifications

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Architect role based in the Greater Raipur Area. The Architect will be responsible for developing architectural concepts, preparing design drawings and 3D models, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders across project phases. Day-to-day tasks include site analysis, climate-responsive and context-driven design, material and detail development, and integration of landscape and vernacular elements into project solutions. The role involves collaborating with consultants and contractors, supporting documentation for permits and construction, and ensuring design quality, functionality, and alignment with MyMaati’s cultural and sustainability ethos. The Architect will also assist in project planning, timelines, and communication to keep design and execution on track.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development, spatial planning, and climate-responsive design.
• Candidates should possess skills in Software Development and Integration as applied to architectural workflows (e.g., design tools, BIM integration, and coordination with digital platforms).
• Candidates should possess skills in Project Management, such as scheduling, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and oversight of design-to-execution processes.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in industry-standard design and documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp/Revit, Adobe Suite or equivalent visualization software).
• Candidates should possess strong communication and collaboration abilities to work with clients, consultants, craftspeople, and construction teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field is preferred, along with knowledge of sustainable design principles, local materials, and cultural context.
• Prior experience in residential, hospitality, or landscape projects is beneficial, as is familiarity with Indian building codes and on-site coordination.
