Job description

Architect - Chennai

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Master Plan for industrial sites including site analysis, zoning, accessibility, statutory compliance and safety.
• Design architectural building concepts for industrial/steel and office buildings.
• Apply knowledge of architectural materials, finishes, and construction details.
• Prepare concept, basic, detailed and statutory approval drawings, as well as construction drawings.
• Provide minimum knowledge of project requirements from other engineering disciplines.
• Create technical specifications, bill of quantities and cost estimates.
• Handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, structural, water supply & drainage, electrical, mechanical, etc.).
• Deliver tasks on schedule and conduct quality checks, clash checks, and quality assurance during review meetings.
• Maintain effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Coordinate with on‑site team across various time zones.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) or equivalent.
• 7 to 9 years of professional experience.
• Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit Architecture, Lumion, and SketchUp.
• Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
