Job summary

Gopalan Enterprises in Bengaluru is seeking a Junior Architect (Commercial) to join the team. The role focuses on architectural planning and coordination for high-profile commercial projects, including offices and shopping spaces.

The candidate should have 4–8 years of experience and a B.Arch degree, with strong AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and BIM skills to drive drawings from concept to GFC stage and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Qualified Architect with B.Arch
• Experience in commercial projects such as offices, malls or mixed-use developments
• Ability to coordinate with structural, MEP, interior and other consultants

Responsibilities

• Support architectural planning, drafting, design coordination and execution of commercial projects
• Prepare concept, schematic, working and GFC drawings
• Coordinate with Structural, MEP, Interior, Landscape and other consultants
• Ensure compliance with statutory approvals, NBC guidelines and commercial regulations
• Coordinate with site teams and monitor design implementation
• Review BOQs, material specifications, shop drawings and vendor submissions
• Conduct site visits and resolve technical issues
• Participate in client and consultant meetings
• Maintain project documentation and drawing revisions
• Monitor project timelines and deliverables
• Support value engineering, cost optimization and procurement approvals
• Prepare architectural presentations, reports and area statements
• Assist in project handover documentation
