Job summary

Live Connections in India is seeking a skilled AR Specialist to handle AR calling and accounts receivable follow-up for US healthcare claims. You will work on both Hospital Billing and Physician Billing accounts, follow up with insurers on pending, unpaid, underpaid and denied claims.

You will analyze claim denials, identify root causes, initiate appeals, and coordinate with billing, coding, and payment posting teams to resolve outstanding AR and meet productivity and collection targets.

Responsibilities

• Handle AR calling and accounts receivable follow-up for US healthcare claims
• Work on Hospital Billing and Physician Billing accounts
• Follow up with insurance companies on pending, unpaid, underpaid, and denied claims
• Analyze claim denials, identify root causes, and take corrective action
• Handle denials related to eligibility, authorization, medical necessity, coding, timely filing, bundling, and non-covered services
• Review claim status, EOBs/ERAs, and payer correspondence to determine next action
• Coordinate with billing, coding, and payment posting teams for claim resolution
• Initiate appeals and reconsiderations for appropriate denied claims
• Maintain accurate follow-up notes and ensure timely resolution of outstanding AR
• Meet defined productivity, quality, and collection targets
