Job summary

Oceaneering India Center is seeking a skilled SCM support professional to back corporate and regional SCM groups. The role ensures inventory is tracked, supplies are distributed, and processes follow proper practices.

Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, proficient in MS Excel, familiar with SAP/Oracle SCM, and able to work in a dynamic global environment with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, commerce or equivalent.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Experience with purchasing, inventory and SCM processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate MIS reports on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Ensure inventory, supplies and equipment are inventoried and distributed per procedures.
• Coordinate with regional SCM groups and vendors to process PO/MSR and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain documentation and data accuracy across cross-functional teams.

Job Description

Need to provide SCM support to the corporate SCM and other regional SCM group. And to ensure all appropriate supplies and equipment are inventoried, received and distributed in accordance with proper and prudent practices. Works under limited supervision. Should be able to work without supervision for complex work.

Responsibilities

• Generate MIS (Management information System) reports on daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Ascertain assigned work is delivered with required quality, within schedule.
• Understand and comply with SCM processes.
• Follow checklist against incoming shipments to a BU on the basis of Invoice.
• Analyze stocks and raise inter-unit stock transfer orders (MSR) to other BU's by using overstock data.
• Purchase orders/MSR management - Generation, Confirmation, Expedite, end user communication.
• Maintaining Tracker for finalized Purchase Order’s.
• Resolve invoices/requisition anomalies.
• Perform receipt against PO's to ensure expedite reports and match exceptions
• Should be well organized, consistent and able to communicate effectively in cross functional teams considering data and records

Qualifications

• Required bachelor’s in science /B-Tech/ Commerce / PGDCA or other relevant educational field.
• Should possess knowledge of the Microsoft Office package, especially of advanced Excel and word.

DESIRED

• Well versed with Purchasing, Inventory and other SCM functions.
• Knowledge of MS Excel including formulas, special functions viz. Pivot table, pivot chart, VLOOKUP, hookup etc.
• Exposure with SAP / Oracle SCM module is highly desirable.
