Job summary

Emerson in Hyderabad, India is seeking an Application Engineer to design and select the best product using Fisher Software. You will prepare techno-commercial offers and respond to technical queries for clients.

The role requires hands-on knowledge of control valves sizing and selection, strong communication, and the ability to create evidence of competency through portfolios and ongoing education. A degree in engineering is required.

Qualifications

• A degree in engineering field.
• Hands on knowledge and experience of control valves sizing & selection.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Creating portfolios as evidence for your competency element as part of structured continued further education in engineering.
• Awareness of internal and industry standards as related to position responsibility (preferred).
• Degree in Mechanical / Instrumentation / Chemical / Metallurgical Engineering.
• Strong interpersonal skills and able to pitch the solution for applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ready to take up any new challenges.
• Experience in Handling large projects and Inhouse engineering experience.

• Provide technical support for OE /factory clarifications and assist with change orders.
