Job summary

Lutron Electronics in Gurgaon is seeking an Applications Engineer to join the Global Service & Experience Center. You will be part of the product and solution training team, developing and delivering training for solution providers, designers, architects, and customer-facing professionals.

You will demonstrate Lutron systems, design certification programs, own the training infrastructure, update materials, support sales with technical training, coordinate sessions, and report on training

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training sessions and content for solution providers, designers, architects, and customer-facing professionals.
• Provide hands-on demonstrations of Lutron systems and explain technical details.
• Design and administer certification programs across residential, commercial, and hospitality markets.
• Own the customer experience infrastructure and walkthroughs at Gurgaon office.
• Be a technical expert on Lutron solutions and provide guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
• Regularly update training content to reflect new products and industry standards.
• Gather feedback, improve training materials, and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, distributors, and solution providers.
• Support sales with technical training and presentations.
• Coordinate training sessions, manage execution, and track progress.
• Report on training effectiveness and monitor industry trends.

Lutron is looking for passionate and driven engineers to join their Global Service & Experience Center, at the Cyber City, Gurgaon, as an Applications Engineer. In this role, you will be part of the product and solution training team. Your contributions will help maintain our market position as the world leader in smart lighting and shading systems. By working in a collaborative environment, you will be exposed to, and trained by, industry experts who will aid in your professional development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training: create and conduct training sessions and content for solution providers, designers, architects, and customer‑facing professionals.
• Product & system demonstrations: provide hands‑on demonstrations and explain technical and functional details of Lutron systems.
• Conduct certification programs: design and administer certification programs for Lutron solution providers across the residential, commercial, and hospitality market segments.
• Own the customer experience infrastructure and customer walkthrough at Lutron Gurgaon office.
• Technical expertise: be a technical expert on Lutron solutions across the product offering, offering expert support and guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
• Update training offering: regularly update training content to reflect new products, solutions, and industry standards.
• Feedback and improvement: gather feedback and enhance training materials based on participant input and industry trends, and manage relationship management with various stakeholders.
• Customer and partner relations: build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and solution providers.
• Sales support: assist the sales team with technical training and presentations to prospective clients.
• Training coordination: schedule and coordinate training sessions, manage training execution and track participant progress.
• Reporting: prepare reports on training effectiveness and monitor industry trends for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 4-7 years of experience in lighting control solutions, lighting design, architecture, or interior design.
• Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills; able to collaborate effectively with domestic and international stakeholders.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional weekends as business needs require.
• Open to travel extensively (up to 70%) across India, Maldives, Sri Lanka, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
