Emerson Electric Co is seeking a proactive presales engineer to work with customers and partners in Pune. You will understand requirements, propose resolutions, and ensure quality offers are submitted on time with cross-functional alignment.

The role includes delivering technical pre-sales support, attending meetings with sales, PMO, and product teams, and maintaining CRM records accurately. Strong communication, multitasking, and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Instrumentation or Chemical Engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with deadlines.
• Experience in pre-sales/support and customer engagement is a plus.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Work closely with internal and external customer to understand customer requirements and propose the best possible resolution for the given application-based project.
• On time submission of quality offer in coordination with BDM’s, internal & external sales team, Legal team, PMO and factory PSQ’s.
• Provide Pre-sales and technical support to all customers, business partners and distributers.
• Provide technical support and attend the pre and post order technical meeting with sales, PMO, Product management team, BDM's (Wherever applicable).
• Ensure CRM (Customer Relationship Management) data are updated regularly.
• Ensure project requirements are reviewed accurately and seek clarifications and approvals from respective collaborators before submitting the offer to customer.
• Ensure on time submission of offer, along with DOA (Delegation of Authority) process compliance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to establish priorities and multitask.
• Demonstrated teamwork or ability to work in a team environment.
• Should be detailed and an assertive character. Must be able to manage complex situations under pressure.

Desired Educational Qualification

Bachelor in Mechanical / Instrumentation/ Chemical Engineering - BE/ B-Tech Graduate

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Knowledge in Isolation valve products, Actuators and instrument components will be a added advantage
• Knowledge of testing - destructive and non-destructive testing will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Metallurgy, Material science, Fluid Mechanics will be an added advantage.
