Job summary

ViaPlus is seeking an Application Support - SRE to own the reliability, availability, and performance of large-scale, mission-critical platforms running on Microsoft Azure. This role will diagnose and resolve high-severity production issues across distributed systems and lead observability and reliability initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree with 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in enterprise application support and ITIL processes.
• Proficient in Windows and Linux administration; cloud basics.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for enterprise applications and production systems.
• Manage incidents, problems, and service requests within SLA / ITIL.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive fixes.
• Collaborate with application teams to resolve deployment and runtime issues.
• Administer Windows & Linux servers (physical & virtual).
• Perform OS upgrades, patching, and system hardening.
• Configure IIS for hosting and Nginx for load balancing.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Manage Azure Service Fabric clusters for microservices.
• Install and tune RabbitMQ, JS7 Scheduler, and GlobalScape EFT.
• Perform log analysis, diagnostics, and performance tuning.
• Remediate vulnerabilities and support compliance audits.
• Configure Power BI Report Server and schedule reports.
• Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and operational documentation.
• Coordinate with Dev, Infra, Security, Vendors, and Business teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and support on-call rotations.

This role is responsible for maintaining production stability across complex, distributed systems by leading incident response, observability, and reliability engineering initiatives.

The Lead Cloud SRE will work hands-on with Azure infrastructure, Kubernetes-based and VM-hosted microservices, networking, and data platforms to diagnose and resolve high-severity production issues.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Application & Production Support

Qualifications

Any Graduate with B. E / B. Tech, MCA or equivalent degree with more than 3+ years relevant work experience.
