Job summary

Ninestars Information Technologies is seeking an SRE / Cloud Operations Support Engineer with extensive cloud operations experience in Azure and migration to Google Cloud. You will handle monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting, and first-line production support in an Azure-based environment while migrating to Google Cloud.

The role emphasizes uptime, runbook execution, alert tuning, and collaboration with the SRE team.

Qualifications

• Experience in cloud operations for Azure/GCP environments.
• Proficient in monitoring, incident triage and production support.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix systems.
• Scripting and automation basics (Python/Shell).
• Familiar with Terraform, Git and infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities

• Monitor applications and services in Azure cloud environments.
• Respond to Datadog and PagerDuty alerts within SLAs.
• Perform first-level incident triage, diagnosis and troubleshooting.
• Execute runbooks to resolve known production issues.
• Monitor overnight processing and identify operational issues.
• Improve runbooks and operational processes.
• Support monitoring and alert improvements via Git/Terraform PRs.
• Escalate complex issues to the internal SRE team.
• Maintain incident records and handover to next support team.

We are looking for an SRE / Cloud Operations Support Engineer with 23 years of experience in cloud operations and production support. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting and first-line production support in an Azure-based cloud environment, with an ongoing migration to Google Cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor applications and services hosted in Azure cloud environments.
• Monitor and respond to Datadog and PagerDuty alerts within defined SLAs.
• Perform first-level incident triage, diagnosis and troubleshooting.
• Execute runbooks to resolve known production issues.
• Monitor critical overnight processing and proactively identify operational issues.
• Contribute to runbook improvements and operational process enhancements.
• Support monitoring and alert-tuning improvements through Git/Terraform pull requests.
• Escalate complex issues to the internal SRE team.
• Maintain incident records and ensure proper handover to the next support team.
