We are seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to manage, maintain, and support critical business applications, with a primary focus on core treasury systems (Murex) and database infrastructure. In this role, you will ensure high availability, optimal performance, and rapid incident resolution for core financial platforms and supporting server environments.

Key Responsibilities

Core Application & Technical Support

• Murex & Treasury Support: Provide end-to-end L2/L3 production support for Murex application environments and manage daily Treasury DPC (Data Processing Center / Day-end Processing) operational tasks.
• System Administration: Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot core operating environments hosted on Unix / Linux and Windows Server infrastructure.
• Database Management: Execute database troubleshooting, query performance tuning, data maintenance, and reporting across Oracle and MS SQL Server environments.
• Incident & Problem Management: Diagnose system incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement timely bug fixes or escalations to meet SLAs.

Monitoring, Cloud & Web Infrastructure

• Performance Monitoring: Utilize APM and observability tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics) to track application health, latency, and operational performance metrics.
• Web Server Management: Configure, maintain, and deploy application components hosted on IIS and WebLogic web servers.
• Cloud Operations: Support application migration, continuous delivery, and maintenance across public or hybrid Cloud Platforms.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory Skills

• Domain & Application Expertise: Expertise in Technology Operations / Application Support, specifically with Murex platform management and Treasury DPC Activities.
• Operating Systems: Hands‑on administration and troubleshooting skills in Unix / Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Databases: Proficient in SQL scripting, data patching, and troubleshooting on Oracle and MS SQL Server.

Secondary / Preferred Skills

• Monitoring Tools: Hands‑on experience with Dynatrace or AppDynamics.
• Middleware & Web Servers: Experience administering IIS and Oracle WebLogic Server.
• Cloud Technologies: Working knowledge of deployment, hosting, and cloud infrastructure management on any primary cloud platform.
