Job summary

Algae Services in India is seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer with strong expertise in Java/J2EE development and L3 application support. The role focuses on production troubleshooting, log and dump analysis, and managing deployments for Java/J2EE apps, Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Oracle databases.

You will collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams while following ITIL processes and using ServiceNow for incident and change management.

Qualifications

• 5–12 years of experience in Java development and/or L3 Application Support.
• Strong hands-on experience in Core Java, J2EE, Spring / Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
• Strong Oracle database skills, including SQL, PL/SQL, and query optimization.
• Experience with application servers such as Tomcat, WebLogic, JBoss, or similar.
• Hands-on production troubleshooting using logs, thread dumps, heap dumps, and monitoring tools.
• Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
• Good understanding of ITIL processes.
