Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Java L3 Production/Application Support Engineer. You will provide L3 support for Java-based production apps, troubleshoot issues across Java, SQL, Unix/Linux and AWS, and perform RCA to drive permanent fixes.

Candidates with 7–12 years of hands-on experience in production support, incident management, and deployment support will fit best. This role offers challenging problems and growth in a global delivery environment.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of relevant experience in production/application support.
• Strong hands-on SQL and database troubleshooting.
• Proficient in Unix/Linux commands and Shell scripting.
• Experience with AWS services and cloud-based support.
• Experience in L2/L3 Production/Application Support.
• Knowledge of Incident, Problem & Change Management.
• Strong debugging and RCA skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide L3 support for Java-based production applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, Unix/Linux, and AWS-related issues.
• Analyze logs, SQL queries, and production incidents to identify root causes.
• Perform RCA and coordinate with development teams for permanent fixes.
• Monitor application health and ensure timely resolution of critical incidents.
• Support deployments, production changes, and operational activities.
• Maintain technical documentation and support procedures.
