Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Application Packaging Specialist to manage the deployment, configuration, and ongoing support of applications across workstations and mobile devices. This role plays a critical part in ensuring robust endpoint management, application security, and compliance within the organization.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in application lifecycle management, collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams, and drive continuous improvement in tools and processes.

Key Responsibilities

Application Deployment & Configuration

• Develop, standardize, and implement processes for application packaging, deployment, and configuration
• Ensure all deployments adhere to organizational policies and industry best practices
• Manage application updates, versioning, and release cycles

Application Management & Support

• Monitor the performance and health of applications across endpoints
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot application‑related issues
• Maintain and manage application inventory and lifecycle processes
• Work closely with Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) specialists to ensure seamless device and application management
• Collaborate with IT operations and cybersecurity teams to align on security and compliance initiatives
• Participate in and contribute to cross‑functional projects and enterprise initiatives

Security & Compliance

• Implement security measures including application whitelisting, patch management, and vulnerability remediation
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal security standards
• Conduct or support application security assessments and audits

Policy Development & Documentation

• Develop and maintain policies, standards, and procedures for application management
• Document application configurations, deployment processes, and support guidelines
• Ensure documentation is well‑maintained and accessible to relevant stakeholders
• Design and deliver training sessions on application usage and best practices
• Promote security awareness and adherence to application security protocols
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and trends in application management
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reliability, and security

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field
• 5–7 years of experience in application packaging, deployment, and management
• Strong knowledge of application deployment tools and endpoint management platforms
• Experience with Microsoft Intune
• Solid understanding of application security and regulatory compliance requirements
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
• Familiarity with ITIL framework or CompTIA A+ standards
• Experience working in enterprise‑scale environments
