Application Engineer - Metrology - North India

Job summary

Shining 3D is seeking a technically skilled field service engineer to install, train, demo and support customers, both in-house and on-site across India. You will support the sales team with product recommendations to optimize customer applications.

The role requires travel, GD&T knowledge, ability to interpret drawings, and strong presentation skills. A bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years in metrology/engineering are preferred.

Qualifications

• Prefer a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience in the areas of metrology, engineering, manufacturing or quality control.
• A minimum of 2 years of technical related experience (Having experience of 3D scanner, CMM, CAD/CAM or metrology software is a plus).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings for dimensional control requirements. GD&T experience is a plus.
• Professional demeanor and confidence in presenting to a group of people.
• Self-motivated and able to work both independently and alongside SHINING 3D management and sales team.
