Job summary

Lennox in Chennai is seeking a fresh graduate for a Junior PLM/Data Management role. You will support Siemens Teamcenter and RuleStream, manage BOMs and engineering data, and assist in change processes with ECOs/ECNs.

Collaboration with engineering and IT teams is essential to ensure data accuracy. Ideal candidates have a mechanical/production/industrial or CS/IT background, strong analytical skills, and good communication to contribute to documentation, reporting, and training material

Qualifications

• Requires a foundational understanding of engineering concepts, BOMs, and product lifecycle processes.
• Freshers welcome; 0–2 years experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork required.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations in Siemens Teamcenter PLM and RuleStream environments.
• Create, modify, and maintain product structures, BOMs, and engineering data.
• Assist in product data management and document control activities.
• Support engineering change management processes, including ECOs and ECNs.
• Validate and maintain data accuracy within Teamcenter.
• Assist in RuleStream configuration, testing, and rule execution.
• Monitor workflows and resolve basic operational issues.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to validate engineering information.
• Participate in system testing, UAT, and defect tracking.
• Prepare operational reports, process documentation, and training materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily operations in Siemens Teamcenter PLM and RuleStream environments.


• Create, modify, and maintain product structures, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and engineering data.


• Assist in product data management and document control activities.


• Support engineering change management processes, including ECOs, ECNs, and workflow execution.


• Validate and maintain data accuracy within Teamcenter.


• Assist in RuleStream configuration, testing, and execution of engineering rules.


• Monitor workflows and resolve basic operational issues.


• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate engineering information.


• Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect tracking activities.


• Prepare operational reports, process documentation, and training materials.


• Follow established quality, compliance, and data governance standards.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.


• 0-2 years of experience (Freshers are welcome).


• Good understanding of engineering concepts, BOMs, and product lifecycle processes.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Good communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
