Qualifications

• Expertise in automotive systems and product development.
• Knowledge of stamping, die casting, and injection molding processes.
• Strong understanding of engine and engine subsystems including EGR and emission control systems.
• Hands-on experience with DFSS, ECM, DVVP, Prototype Control Plan, and prototype sample development.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer technical discussions and deliver technical presentations.
• Provide technical sales support during commercial discussions and new business opportunities.
• Conduct feasibility studies, market research, and business case analyses for new products.
• Develop and maintain technology roadmaps aligned with customer requirements and market trends.
• Analyze market trends, competitor products, regulatory changes, and emerging automotive technologies.
• Collaborate with R&D and Advanced Engineering to develop next-generation automotive products.
• Identify opportunities to introduce products like Electric Pumps, EGR Systems, and Control Boxes into OEM platforms.
• Lead PoC development and technical validation of new concepts.
• Work with Sales, Product Management, Design, Manufacturing, and Engineering for successful development and launches.
• Capture VoC and translate feedback into product improvements and strategic initiatives.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations, white papers, feasibility reports, and customer proposals.
• Support OEM engagements, product strategy, and new product development activities

Technical Competencies

• Expertise in Automotive Systems and Automotive Product Development.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes including Stamping, Die Casting, and Injection Molding.
• Strong understanding of Engine & Engine Subsystems, including EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation), PDP, and Emission Control Systems.
• Hands-on experience with DFSS, ECM, DVVP, Prototype Control Plan, and Prototype Sample Development.
• Experience in Product Testing, Hypothesis Verification, and Validation Activities.
• Working knowledge of GD&T, DFMEA, APQP, PPAP, BOM Management, and Engineering Change Management.

• Ability to evaluate Customer-Specific Requirements (CSR) and convert them into technical solutions.
• Understanding of Emission Norms, regulatory requirements, and related automotive variables.
