Job summary

Jio World Centre seeks a seasoned IT operations leader to manage the Joint Operations Centre platform and OT applications. You will oversee availability, security, and lifecycle across JOC data platforms, APIs, dashboards and command centre systems, ensuring reliable interoperability with Enterprise IT and business systems.

You will drive end-to-end releases, patching, documentation, and vendor coordination while maintaining a single source of truth and high availability for critical systems

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of enterprise OT, IT/OT integration, dashboards and command centre apps.
• Experience with ITSM processes, incident/change management and SLA governance.
• Ability to manage complex integrations across IT, OT and business apps while ensuring data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Own platform stack ingestion, data fabric, semantic layer, APIs, dashboards and command-centre apps.
• Ensure single source of truth; support end-to-end releases, configuration, patches and docs.
• Maintain OS, virtualization, databases and application software; monitor performance and apply patches.
• Provide data services and APIs to business and operations within SLAs; maintain docs.
• Lead vendors and the systems/integration team; drive PoCs and improvements.

Job Purpose

The Incumbent is responsible for managing the Joint Operations Centre (JOC) technology platform and operational technology (OT) applications that enable integrated monitoring, command, and control across Jio World Centre. The role oversees the availability, performance, integration, security, and lifecycle of the Jocs applications, data platforms, APIs, dashboards, and command centre systems, ensuring seamless interoperability with Enterprise IT and business systems while delivering a reliable, secure, and unified operational view for business users.

Job Accountabilities

Platform & Applications

• Own the platform stack ingestion bus, data fabric, semantic layer, read APIs, dashboards and command-centre applications.
• Implement and safeguard the single source of truth against model defined by the Data & IRM Officer.
• Support the Jocs critical applications end-to-end releases, configuration, patching and documentation.

System, Availability & Resilience

• Install, configure and maintain the Jocs operating systems, virtualization, databases and application software.
• Monitor system and platform performance; proactively resolve bottlenecks; run updates and patches.
• Own backup, restore and disaster-recovery for the platform; assure high availability of critical Joc systems.

Integration & Data Services

• Own multi-vendor software integration (dashboard, applications, analytics vendors etc) and the feeds from the ELV systems.
• Provide data services and APIs to Business (to an SLA) and to the Operations Team.
• Maintain system, integration and configuration documentation.

Security, Access & Boundary Management

• Own the platforms application-security posture, jointly with enterprise / OT security.
• Administer user accounts, permissions and access controls on Joc platforms, within the Joc governance rules.
• Manage the infra-versus-application seam with Enterprise IT (who owns an outage) and the data-services with Business and Operations Team.

Vendor & Team Leadership

• Manage technology vendors and service providers; negotiate and hold service-level agreements
• Provide technical leadership to the systems / integration team; troubleshoot complex issues; track emerging technology, coordinate PoC and recommend improvements

Skills

• Strong understanding of enterprise application platforms, Operational Technology (OT), system integrations, APIs, middleware, dashboards, and command centre applications.
• Sound knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM), incident management, change management, SLA governance, and vendor management.
• Ability to manage complex system integrations across Enterprise IT, OT, and business applications while ensuring data integrity and a single source of truth.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to resolve critical platform issues in high-pressure operational environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business users, and external partners.
• Strong ownership mindset with a focus on operational excellence, service reliability, continuous improvement, and compliance with security and governance standards
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, drive technology initiatives, and deliver outcomes within defined timelines in a dynamic business environment

Qualification

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field (Masters preferred).
• Desirable certifications: ITIL, cloud, security (CISSP / CISM), network (CCNP)

Experience

• 7+ years of experience spanning in systems administration, platform/software engineering and integration, including exposure in a technical leadership role breadth across systems, applications and networks is expected, reflecting the consolidated remit
• Desirable domain exposure: BMS / ELV / OT environments (e.g. Metasys, BACnet) and command-centre or 247 operations.
• ITSM / ITIL experience; proven vendor and SLA management.
• Strong in: operating systems (Windows / Linux) and virtualization; cloud; data platforms, APIs and systems integration; application security; and network fundamentals sufficient to manage the Enterprise-IT seam.
