Job summary

Tekskills Inc. is seeking an experienced Apigee API Developer to drive API development, management, deployment and testing. You will configure policies, target servers, KVMs and virtual hosts within the Apigee platform and work with CI/CD tools to automate deployments.

The role requires strong API testing skills with Postman, SoapUI and curl, plus PowerShell scripting for automation. Familiarity with cloud platforms and microservices is a plus; Apigee Certification is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Apigee Edge and/or Apigee X.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
• Experience configuring Apigee Policies, Target Servers, KVMs and Virtual Hosts.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps or GitLab CI.
• Strong API testing experience using Postman, SoapUI, and cURL.
• PowerShell scripting for automation and operations.
• Java experience for custom Apigee policies is a plus.
• Strong understanding of HTTP/S, JSON, XML, OAuth and API security.
• Familiarity with GCP, AWS or Azure; knowledge of microservices and containerization.
• Monitoring with Splunk and Grafana is preferred; Apigee Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Apigee APIs with emphasis on development, deployment and testing.
• Configure policies, target servers, KVMs and virtual hosts in Apigee.
• Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines to automate builds and deployments.
• Perform thorough API testing using Postman, SoapUI and curl.
• Automate operational tasks with PowerShell and ensure secure, scalable APIs.
