Job summary

Tekskills Inc. is hiring an Apigee API Developer to drive API development, deployment, and testing across Pan India. The role requires hands-on work with Apigee Edge/X, RESTful APIs, and policy configurations. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms is essential.

You will work on configuring policies, target servers, KVMs, and virtual hosts, while ensuring robust API security and performance. Prior experience with Postman, SoapUI, curl, and scripting is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Apigee Edge and/or Apigee X.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
• Experience configuring Apigee policies, target servers, KVMs, and virtual hosts.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Apigee API proxies, policies, and backend integrations.
• Configure and maintain target servers, KVMs, and virtual hosts for secure API delivery.
• Implement API testing, monitoring, and security practices (OAuth, JSON/XML).

We are looking for a skilled Apigee API Developer with strong experience in API development, management, deployment, and testing.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with Apigee Edge and/or Apigee X
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs & OpenAPI/Swagger specifications
• Experience configuring Apigee Policies, Target Servers, KVMs & Virtual Hosts
• Experience with CI/CD tools – Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI
• Strong API testing experience using Postman, SoapUI & cURL
• Hands-on experience in PowerShell scripting for automation and operational tasks
• Knowledge of Java for custom Apigee policies is an added advantage
• Strong understanding of HTTP/S, JSON, XML, OAuth & API Security
• Familiarity with GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Knowledge of Microservices & Containerization
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk & Grafana is preferred
• Apigee Certification is a plus
